Day 20 - A day on the water

Hi Sue,

We took a detour off the Hume this morning and rode up the Ovens Hwy. to Porepunkah.
We found this guy who rents out boats and we went for a ride down the river.
You should try it some time, white water rapids are so cool.

Day 19 - Back to the Zoo

Hi Babe,

Rose loved the Zoo the other day so much we decided to go back.

We didn't stay for very long because we had a big trip ahead of us.
Next stop. Sydney.

Day 18 - A not so happy Birthday

Hi Babe,

Where are you?
It's my birthday today. I came into work to see you .
You were going to finally meet Rose.

When I got to your desk you weren't there.
All you stuff had been packed up and you were gone.

How could you do this to me? My life in tatters. Rose convinced me to go and look for you.
Soon we found out that you had moved upstairs.
I did go looking for you but people they hadn't see you for ages They said. Try the Cafe.
Not there either.

I did find your old work mates and I had a wonderful Birthday cake.

Day 17 - Slip sliding away

Hi Babe,

We were not ready to go home after the zoo yesterday so we kept riding down to Geelong to check out the Connecting Lives Festival.

Afterwards we thought we would cool down and went to the water slide. Wasn't that fun,

Day 16 - The Safari

Hi Babe,

I pick up Rose early this morning from her mums and we went for a trip to Werribee Zoo.
We checked out the wild life and got some great shots with the Giraffes.

Keep your fingers crossed, I should be back at work soon.

I know you will love Rose when you meet her.

I know it's been hard to have to do all that stuff at work on your own but I'm a hard core biker now and have an image to keep up.

Day 15 - Dinner with The Munster and his mate Mick

Hi Babe,

Rose went to visit her mum over in South Yarra for the night so I went out on the town.

I had a mission. To try and find The Munster or his mate Mick. Best place to look. Carlton.
I had to cruise the street for a while and checked out some of the local restaurants.

Found him at last in a nice restaurant call Crooners Cafe Bar Lounge.

Day 14 - Billy Bob

Hi Babe,

What an eventful day. Here is how it went.

I went out for a ride with one of my mates.
We were having a great time then we got pulled over by a Policeman by the name of Jack Stone.
Another old mate of ours. Just for a prank Jack carted me of to Jail. DUI he said.

Alas, Rose did not see the funny side but she stuck with me. What a trouper.

I would like to introduce my mate Billy. (Twin brother actually)

Day 12 - My Goodness. My Guinness

Hi Babe,

We had a quiet day today. No Knights, Dinosaurs, Sharks or other dangerous creatures.
We went out for a quite dinner at an Irish Pub.
I had a nice Guinness Pie and Rose had the Irish Stew.

Day 11 - A Knight not to remember

Hi Babe,

Today we went for a motorbike ride to check out the lighthouse in Apollo Bay.

What a wonderful place for a picnic.

After packing up we saw a strange man approaching on a big horse.

I yelled to Rose "lets get out of here" but it was too late.

Day 10 - Pre Historic

Hi Babe,

Loverly ride through Forrest this morning. (That's a town in the Otways).

We came accross some wildlife we didn't expect.
We had gone back a million years or so into the Jurassic period.

Day 9 - Dick Lies Here

Hi Babe,

There we were cruising the neighbourhood.
Some how we ended up in a cemetary.
We found out about Dick the Bushranger.

Not a nice place for a honeymoon.
Not that we got married or any thing.

Day 8 - Rock Climbing

Hi Babe,

Today we went for a day trip to the Grampians.
We had a great time doing some of the walks.
The view from the Elephants Hide is spectacular.
The bike is running in tip top condition.

Day 7 - A day at the beach

Hi Sue,

We set out for what we thought would be a quiet day.
With the temperature touching on 40 we went to the beach.

Enjoying the sun and water filled in the day nicely but we had "An incident."
Luckily we had a nice life guard around to save the day.

Day 6 - A Chance meeting. New love

Today I was out for a quiet ride to check out the local dairy industry.

There she was, the lady of my dreams. Lovely blue eyes. Long golden hair.
Riding a white Horse. Together a beautiful sight.

Day 5 Out of the fire and into the volcano.

Hi Babe,

Wow! Today I found this really cool place called Tower Hill. It's an extinct volcano.
The scenery was great. I checked out some of the wild life. The camera battery went flat so I missed the Kangaroos.

Day 4 - All the excitment one can get

Hi Babe,

Today out on the long winding road and come accross some nutters playing funny games with dogs and some sheep.
They told me it's called Sheep Dog Trials. Oh man! these guys know their stuff.

I hung around for a while and checked out the locals. A very strange bunch.
But Sheep Dog Trials are about as exciting as watching paint dry.

Day 3 - Another day, another night.

Hi Babe,
I booked into this Motel in a little town call Inverliegh just west of Geelong.
The place was full of bikers just like me. We had a great meal at the pub then went back to the Motel to compare bikes.
